Does Periods reveal infertility problems- How to identify?

Periods can actually say a lot more. Most of the infertility problems can be easily diagnosed at the early stage itself. Each of you period behaviour like colour, thickness and quantity can reveal your reproductive abnormalities if you notice. Healthy periods


A woman always keeps count of the days for each cycle and days of periods but they fail to notice the flow and consistency of it. The healthy period will be as per follows,


· A cycle of 28-30 days

· Lasts up to 3-7 days

· Flow range must be in the range of 50-100 ml. Less or more than this level is said to be a problem.


“During periods, a woman may have mood swings, little painful cramps, or look tired” these are all very normal during a healthy cycles says a gynaecologist. However, experiencing painful cramps must be noticeable.


Periods colour


Periods colour can indicate a lot more about your reproductive healthiness. A normal period blood will be fresh to dark red in colour and may be little brown to an extent. Other than that, other colour can be disturbing. Here we will isolate each of the colour and its effects for your better understanding.


1. Brown or black – If your periods come in this colour then it indicates that you have difficulties in releasing the blood and in the regeneration of uterine lining.


2. Thin or bright red – if your periods are in this colour then you have a thin uterine lining.


When it comes to consistency, your period must be thick, stringy or clotty not too thin or watery. As said earlier, painful cramps or sharp ache is not normal whereas little pain in the pelvis is normal.


Uterine lining


Endometrium and Endometriosis are disorders that are concerned with reproductive system in a woman. Endometriosis is where an abnormal tissue may grow inside the uterus and get stalked whereas endometrium is a growth of tissue outside the pelvis. If you have severe pain during your menstrual cycle it is advised to look for a specialist soon.
